For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:
i. Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) “D” plain or its equivalent
ii. 1(one) year work experience in a funeral establishment.
iii. Be a member of a registered funeral professional association
iv. Must have attended a minimum of three months training in Embalming, mortuary science or funeral service education in a recognized institution
v. Proficiency in computer skills.
Duties
and Responsibilities
i.
Removal of the deceased
from place of death;
ii.
Receiving of bodies and
tagging for proper identification;
iii.
Escort mourners to
funeral chapels; and
iv. Organize the reception after the service.
