For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

Attended a
Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized
institution; and
Duties and
Responsibilities;
An officer at this level may be
deployed in the Sub-County, as a Subject Matter Specialist. The officer may be
deployed as the deputy to sub-county agricultural officer. Duties will entail;
i.
Coordination of
any of the following programmes: - Gender and Home Management, Land Development
and Environment Management, Crop Development, Projects Monitoring and
Evaluation, Extension, Research Liaison Training, or Promotion and Development
of Agribusiness activities; and
ii.
Oversee the
implementation of project work plans.
